The International Center for Higher Education Innovation under the auspices of UNESCO (International Center for Higher Education Innovation under the auspices of UNESCO, referred to as "UNESCO-ICHEI" in English) was established on June 8, 2016. It is a United Nations UNESCO’s tenth Category II educational institution worldwide. On November 13, 2015, the 38th General Conference of UNESCO approved the establishment of an innovation center in Shenzhen, China. This is also the first Category II higher education institution established in China. |
