EEQA is a non-governmental, independent, and international quality assurance, rating, and accreditation agency working to improve quality assurance standards of educational organizations all over the world. EEQA Legal Status

EEQA is a non-governmental, independent, and international quality assurance, rating, and accreditation agency based in Europe and USA working to improve quality assurance standards of educational organizations all over the world. Therefore it uses EU higher education regulations and directives when reviewing an applicant. In some cases, EEQA can use the applicant country´s regulations, too. Also, EEQA gets support from its local partner institutions (universities, state agencies, associations, etc.) when accrediting a course/program that has a curriculum.

EEQAwas an association (non-profit organization) that works only in the European Area between 1997-2018, but it has been obliged to change its legal entity for the international taxation and billing regulations. EEQA, as a for-profit organization, cooperate with international taxation, payments collection, and invoicing with a private company since 2018. EEQA can´t give any titles or degrees to the accredited institute´s students, or can´t give authorization about the diploma, work, opening an office, etc. Also, EEQA does not control or oversee the documents, certificates, diplomas, titles, degrees, rights, and authorizations issued (given) by the accredited institution. All rights and legal liabilities of these belong to the institution that carries out the transaction. EEQA periodically checks the educational quality of the institution and the up-to-dateness of the curriculum of the course/program and reports to the relevant institution.
